Enrol & scope your licence
We advise which IRSE licence category you need (Installer, Maintainer, Tester, Engineer, etc.), providing direction and purpose.
Prepare your evidence of competence
You build a portfolio of task logs, supervisor sign-offs, site experience and any previous training certifications.
Workplace + practical assessments
RT assessors come to you or host you at our centre, observing real tasks on site and doing practical tests.
Competency review & sign-off
Our internal assessors review your evidence, complete competence assessments and formally verify if you meet IRSE standards (or not!).
Submission to IRSE
RT handles the paperwork and submission to IRSE, IRSE processes it, and all being well, the licence granted or renewed.
